[edit] Free community i-names and i-services
@freeXRI offers i-names in the following namespaces:
- @free
- @on-line
- @id
- @blog
- =start
- =web
All community i-names in these namespaces (e.g. @free*yourname) are fully configurable with a wizard or various configuration panels. @freeXRI provides the three standard i-services Authentication, Contact Page and Forwarding.
[edit] XRI client tools
The site also has a number of XRI tools that are independent of the free community i-names. These tools include:
- XRI Inspector: Breaks down an XRI into its syntactical components
- XRI Ping: Resolves an XRI to its URL(s) under default input parameters
- XRI Traceroute: Displays every single step in the resolution process
- XRI Resolution: Performs XRI resolution with a large range of options
These tools are also available as a google gadget, a standalone Java application and as an IRC bot.
[edit] Proxy server
An XRI proxy resolver is run at http://xri.freexri.com/ (comparable to http://xri.net/).
It can resolve any XRI by appending it to the proxy URL (therefore forming a so-called HXRI).
[edit] Software
The @freeXRI authority resolution server, proxy server and the XRI client tools are based on OpenXRI.
